Pittsburgh, Los Angeles Make Trade
Monday, November 29th, 2055
It's all done except the paperwork. The Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a trade that will send $1 in cash to Los Angeles, while 29-year-old RHP Zeb Minor and $1 in cash will be shipped to Pittsburgh. A top front office executive with the Pirates described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said.

Minor has made 251 relief appearances and has 151 lifetime saves.
Arizona-Seattle Trade: O'Quinn for Davis

32-year-old 1B Brad O'Quinn will now be playing for the Seattle Mariners and 20-year-old minor league RHP Len Davis will be suiting up for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials.

During his career O'Quinn has played in 1267 games, batted .235 with 189 home runs and 1085 base hits.
Arizona Trades Sharpe for Seattle's David
Monday, November 29th, 2055
You can't always get what you want, but sometimes you find a deal anyway. The Baseball News Network is reporting that Arizona and Seattle have made a swap with 33-year-old RHP Don Sharpe being shipped to the Mariners and in return the Diamondbacks would get 28-year-old 1B Ture Hernández, 30-year-old RHP Ralph David, 22-year-old minor league SS Cullan Medrano, 22-year-old minor league LHP Zander Oliver and 19-year-old minor league SS Rod Cash.

Arizona general manager Jesse Terry said the two sides were close to a blockbuster trade before agreeing upon a smaller scale transaction.

"This is just a bit of housekeeping compared to what we wanted to do," he said. "I won't name names, but the potential deal we were close to making would have certainly grabbed some headlines."

A source inside the Arizona organization said the two sides might not be done dealing, and another transaction could be in the works.

Sharpe has logged 117 saves since he broke into the league. He has thrown 632.1 innings, dishing out 794 strikeouts and walking 272 with a 47-31 mark and a 3.46 ERA.

During his career David's won-lost record is 40 wins and 47 losses with a 4.59 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .253 average.
